Moon And Jupiter Create 'Spectacular Sight' Tonight |
|
The Moon and Jupiter will blaze brightly in the sky tonight in a so called 'conjunction'.
According to a report by the Journal.ie it will be a spectacular sight in the sky when Jupiter and the Moon are placed very close together.
David Moore of Astronomy Ireland explained to TheJournal.ie "As Jupiter passes the Earth, a conjunction is going to happen every month for the next few months but this one will be the most brilliant.

Mr Moore has encouraged people to get their telescopes out and have a look at the conjunction. It will however also be visible and impressive to the naked eye
He describes how Jupiter will look like a disc in the sky and how the planet's moon will also be visible.
