Carl O'Beirnes and David Grennan
have been involved in astrophotography for several years. Carl
O'Beirnes is a specialist in imaging our solar system neighbours and
the Moon. David has been imaging some of our smaller solar
system neighbours, asteroids. Carl with explain in detail the
equipment, processes and techniques involved in producing high
resolution images of the Moon and Planets and will highlight how you
too can acheive impressive results with relatively modest equipment.
Carl and David have been invited to appear on the BBC's 'The Sky at
Night' with Sir Patrick Moore for the second time. Their
latest trip to Sir Patrick's home in West Sussex is set to coincide
with the total lunar eclipse taking place on February 21st.
David and Carl will finish the presentation with a report on the trip,
filming and the eclipse. You can see Carl and David's work on http://www.webtreatz.com'
