This year has been designated Einstein Year.  Astronomy Ireland is delighted to present this lecture in association with the Institute of Physics.

Who was Albert Einstein?  Why is he considered to be one of the greatest thinkers of our times?  What legacy has he left us?  Professor Petros Florides of Trinity College is a leading expert on Einstein and his work.  He will bring to life Einstein's life and explain his immeasurable contribution to science.

You must get tickets in advance (maximum 2 per person for this event).  Get tickets by sending a stamped addressed envelope or calling to the Astronomy Ireland shop, 75 Butterly Business Park, Kilmore Road, Artane, Dublin 5.  N.B. If posting send before Fri. April 8 to ensure receipt of tickets in advance of the lecture.
