Damian
Peach is a very experienced planetary observer. He will talk abou
this images and observations of Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn
obtained in the course of making observations in support of the
British Astronomical Association (BAA),
Association of Lunar and Planetary Observers (ALPO.),
and International Outer Planets Watch (IOPW)
observing programs of the Planets.
The
primary Planetary Telescope in use for CCD imaging and Visual
Observations are an 11" (28cm) and 9.25" (23.5cm) Schmidt
Cassegrain Telescopes mounted on a large GEMs. These Telescopes
are used in conjunction with an SBIG model ST-5C CCD, Philips ToUcam Pro
and ATK-1HS cameras.
