ASTRO-EXPO 2005 HERE
This years Astro-Expo 2005 which is being
run in association with the Discover Science and Engineering project,
the British Council Ireland, and DCU Astrosoc. promises to be
even more exciting and mind blowing than last
years Astro-Expo 2004(read the report). Many exhibitors have
booked space for Astronomy Ireland's flagship event. The list of exhibitors and lecturers
promises to be a mouth-watering mix of the bizarre, the interesting
and the truly amazing. Entry to the exhibition is totally free
but there is a charge of €5 for lectures OR €10 for three lectures
OR €15 for six lectures over the 2 days.
One of the highlights of this years will be The Solar System
Exhibition which is being brought in from Manchester by the British
Council Ireland for the exhibition.

Another feature will be the RoverBot challenge. It is a test
of skill. Have you
got the guts, the skill and the sheer determination to save the
stranded mother ship?
It is certainly not an event to be missed as you can see from the list
below. Why not make a weekend of
it!!
