This year will be bigger and better that ever before with
planetaria, observatories and everything from the wonderful to the
downright weird- in other words something for all the family :-).

There will also be a mobile inflatable planetarium with shows
happening every hour.

Lectures:
1:00pm. 'The Wrath of Ra' (a lecture on the Sun and how it affects us) by Dr. James McAteer of
NASA and TCD Astrophysics.
2:30pm. 'Celtic Rock - hunting for Asteroids' by Dave McDonald.
Dave recently discovered the second asteroid from Ireland (2008 TM9)
- the first was discovered from Markree Castle observatory, Sligo by
Andrew Graham in 1848.
4:00pm. 'The Coming Space Power of China' by renowned space author and
A&S contributor Brian Harvey. The Chinese space program
goes from strength to strength now with a space walk under their
belts. They are now considering a moon landing.
