              Countrywide Comet Watches

    in support of the Tsunami Disaster Appeal

Astronomy Ireland is holding Nationwide Comet Watches (venues around Ireland are listed below) on Thursday January 13 (weather is looking good) in suport of the Tsunami disaster appeal.  The comet is Machholz (C/2004 Q2), reports are that it is brightening rapidly and should be visible to the naked eye over Christmas and for all of January.  Details are in the January and February issues of our magazine ORDER HERE
